Episode two: Waldemar returns to Italy to trace the Italian Renaissance from its perceived origins with Giotto and takes a look at the importance of religious narrative in Italian art. While there were certainly a few aesthetic influences from classical art, the majority of Italian painting and sculpture in the 14th and 15th centuries was created to inspire devotion, especially in the work of Piero della Francesca, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael and Fra Angelico.

작년 몇달간 즐겨 보았던 프로그램이 있습니다.
Sky A&C에서 방영한 " 서양미술대기행"입니다.
같은 프로그램을 여러번 반복해서 방송했는데, 너무 재밌어서 여러번 봤던 기억이납니다. 특히 "인상주의"가 가장 흥미로웠습니다.

영화 이전에, 사진이 있었고, 사진이전에 그림들이 있었기에 그림(예술)을 이해 하지 못하고 사진과 영상을 논한다는 것이 어쩌면 껍데기라는 생각이 들어서,
더 집중으로 봤습니다.
왜 그림과 건축등 예술에 열광하는가? 궁금했습니다. 예상외의 답을 얻어서 즐거웠던 기억이 납니다.
요즘은 케이블 TV에서도 방송을 하지 않지만, 다행히도 원본 동영상을 유듀브에 올려 놓으신 분을 찾았습니다. 아쉽게도 한글 자막이 없네요.. ㅠㅜ
